BBL Laser

BBL (Broadband Light)
Laser Treatment

Broadband Light (BBL) is an advanced treatment that uses light energy to improve the appearance of your skin. It can treat a variety of skin issues, including sun damage, age spots, fine lines, redness, rosacea, and even acne. The light pulses target the problem areas beneath the skin’s surface, stimulating your body’s natural ability to produce collagen, which leads to smoother, more even-toned skin. BBL is non-invasive, meaning there’s little

to no downtime, so you can return to your normal activities quickly.

What to expect on the day

We offer an in-depth consultation to determine the best treatment plan for you in the first instance.  This  includes a VISIA scan which captures high resolution pictures of your face assessing various skin health factors such as wrinkles, pores, pigmentation, sun damage, redness, and even underlying issues not visible to the naked eye. You will receive these results along with a quotation for your specific plan and treatment dates to choose from. Treatment on the same day is possible if suitable in your schedule otherwise, we can book you in at your nearest convenience.

On the day of your BBL treatment, you can expect a relatively quick and comfortable procedure. First, the Nurse Practitioner will clean the treatment area, it's generally best to attend without makeup. You’ll be given protective eyewear, as the BBL device emits bright light pulses. As the treatment begins, you’ll feel a sensation similar to a warm snap or mild tingling, but it’s generally well-tolerated. The session typically lasts 15 to 45 minutes, depending on the area(s) being treated. Afterward, your skin may appear slightly red, similar to a mild sunburn, but this usually subsides within a few hours. You’ll be able to resume normal activities quickly, though it's important to follow any post-care instructions.
